AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued on Saturday to ban the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil City for the 14th consecutive day, amid entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers and ongoing Judaization measures and violations at the Islamic holy site.
Furthermore, the IOF continues to close the main gate leading to the Mosque (Bab al-Souk), obstructing the access of Muslim worshipers.
The Israeli army recently imposed an entry ban on the chief custodian and director of the Ibrahimi Mosque for 12 days under the pretext of violating military instructions regarding the placement of straw mats used by Jewish settlers at the holy site.
Additionally, five mosque employees were also detained and interrogated today regarding the same matter.
Meanwhile, the IOF still prohibits al-Khalil municipal crews from doing their job around the Ibrahimi Mosque.
