Wave of settler attacks reported across West Bank in past 24 hours

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), During the past 24 hours, extremist Jewish settlers launched a new spate of violations and attacks across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian citizens, homes, and agricultural property.

In al-Khalil, settlers provoked Palestinians in the Hamroush area of Sa’ir town, while others released their livestock into swaths of Palestinian farmland in the hamlet of Khirbet al‑Kharaba, east of the town of al‑Samu.

South of Yatta, settlers stole water tanks from agricultural buildings in the al‑Latoun area near Khillet al‑Homs, south of Yatta.

A horde of settlers also grazed cattle and held provocative tours in Khirbet Yarza near Tubas, while others stormed the town of Kifl Haris north of Salfit.

In Nablus, settlers stole the wheat harvest in the Beit Furik plain east of the city and converted it into straw and hay bales, while also damaging agricultural greenhouses in the same area.

In southeastern Nablus, settlers released their sheep onto Palestinian lands on the outskirts of Jurish village, and attacked a farm shack in the Qammas area on the edge of Beita town.

They also seized a tract of Palestinian-owned land containing a restaurant and a house in Beit Imrin, although they are located within Area “A” of the West Bank.

In Burin, south of Nablus, settlers vandalized and tore apart plastic greenhouses belonging to a Palestinian agricultural society, located along the town’s main street.

In Ramallah, settlers released their cattle onto swaths of agricultural land in the village of Umm Safa, damaging olive trees and agricultural fields. In a separate incident, they assaulted a Palestinian farmer, Mohamed Badr, from the nearby village of Jiljilyya.

They also stormed the village of Rammun and the outskirts of Burqa village in eastern Ramallah, attempting to steal livestock from farmers.

In Jericho, settlers released their livestock onto swaths of Palestinian land in the Halq al‑Rummanah community west of the city, after establishing an outpost in the area two days ago.

At dawn, dozens of settlers, followers of the extremist rabbi Eliezer Berland, stormed the town of Kifl Haris, northwest of Salfit, and attacked Palestinian property.

Local sources reported that about 100 settlers raided the town, vandalizing private property, damaging vehicles, and targeting homes.
