International Committee formed to fight against disinformation

Karbala(Palestine Foundation Information Center),  Participants at the ongoing two-day 5th International Palestine The Call of Al-Aqsa Conference in the holy city of Karbala, Iraqthemed “The Hussaini Revolution and the Palestinian Narrative: Building a Narrative Against Misinformation” have established international committees to construct an accurate narrative to counter anti-Palestinian narratives.

The second session of the conference, which began on July 25, continued on July 26.

Delegates from various countries presented their views and practical proposals under the theme “The Hussaini Revolution and the Palestinian Narrative: Building a Narrative Against Misinformation.”

The crucial committee-formation session on the second day was presided over by Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, where various committees were finalized.

The joint statement of the committees will be read out during the conference’s closing session.

The objectives behind establishing the committee for “The Hussaini Revolution and the Palestinian Narrative: Building a Narrative Against Misinformation” include global networking as well as seeking opportunities to present the Palestinian cause in its true spirit and correct direction.
